Please join Chrystal Burns, Senior Vice President, Retail for QuadReal Property Group – for breakfast and an engaging conversation with our incoming CREW president Tina Lu. Chrystal will discuss her career trajectory, delve into her current role as SVP of QuadReal Property Group, and advise emerging leaders looking to carve their own path in real estate and other male-dominated industries.

Chrystal Burns

Chrystal Burns joined QuadReal in February 2017, in the early days of the company’s launch.

Responsible for the QuadReal retail portfolio performance in Western Canada, Chrystal’s key focus is redevelopment projects with special attention to Oakridge Park, the $6.2 billion, 7-year transformation of Oakridge Shopping Centre into a 5 million square foot mixed use development which is slated to become the second town centre for Vancouver.

Prior to QuadReal, Chrystal worked at a number of commercial real estate companies, most recently as one of the partners at Bentall Kennedy, where she was responsible for the BCi western Canadian retail portfolio.

Chrystal is a graduate of the University of Cape Town (BA) and University of British Columbia (Urban Land) and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. She completed an MBA at Queen’s and Cornell Universities in 2010. Chrystal is one of the Founders and the Past President of CREW Vancouver and continues to be involved in a number of associations within the industry.
